Abstract
"Steadicam" is a video animation based on picture and sound quotations that addresses the issues of the subjective camera, the change of perspective from observer to player and vice versa, and observing and being observed. The source materials used for "Steadicam" were photographs of a Noh stage based on designs by the Japanese architect Kengo Kuma in Toyama/Japan, and sound material from the German dubbed version of David Lynch's "Lost Highway" (USA, 1996).
